Snow Update, Ride

The Snow is Melted!!!  There was some pretty heavy erosion and downed tree limbs caused by the harder than average winter.

I Rode with some singlespeed outlaws and company on Saturday. 

Did some trail maintenance on Sunday that counts toward free registration at the greenbrier state park xc race!!!

Rain Ride

Its been raining pretty much all weekend.  It let off for a bit so i went for a ride with Joe.

The water level of rivers and streams were way higher than normal.  Even though I think the snow is gone up @ the watershed with all this rain it will still be a little while before the trails are dry enough to ride.

New Fork, Snow Melt Update

I purchased a New fork and James over @ Bike Doctor helped me install it.  Thanks James.

Snow melt update (maybe 3-4 inches). It's getting close to being ridable.

Rolling Road Ride, Reckless Runaway Ramming Rottweiler

Joe Whitehair showed me around some rolling back roads.  Some pretty scenery (farms, small bridges, & quarries)

I was expecting it to be a pretty easy ride because Joe rides a fixed gear but it wasn't.  My legs are pretty sore right now.

During the ride I was rammed by an adult Rottweiler coming @ me full speed!!!  The impact made the rear of my bike skid out a few inches.  I’m glad it decided not to take a bite of my leg.

Unlike my last scary animal incident with wolfs (or something that looked like wolfs) I have a witness this time so people might believe me.
